NEW DELIVERY PROGRAM AND OPERATIONAL PLAN
The City of Parramatta is inviting comments on the Delivery Program and Operational Plan (DPOP) until 11 June 2018.
The Delivery Program is Council’s main business plan, outlining the direction it will take over the next 3 years in terms of delivering core services, activities, programs and projects.
The Plan outlines $1.3 billion of investment in areas such as:
major works and construction
parks, recreation and culture
roads maintenance, footpaths and drainage
library, social and community services
engineering and traffic improvements
waste management and environmental sustainability projects.
During the public exhibition, you’re encouraged to view the summary paper or read the full plan, then let us know if you have any comments. (Link here: https://www.cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au/yourplan)
Our City Your Say
Our comments … I’ve taken screen shots of the pages that I see are relevant to WP. Most of this plan is CBD-specific or covers other parts of the Local Government Area (LGA). The S94 funds that Council has collected on behalf of WP are being spent on the community centre and library (implying an expectation that the VPA for Block H will not be accepted). The full amount of funds are not being spent. The Haslams Creek Bridge, Bennelong Pkwy / Hill Rd lights and other roadworks are not mentioned.
