Changes to street parking in Olympic Park station precinct.

New street parking conditions will be introduced from Monday 9 October adjacent to the train station, along Dawn Fraser & Murray Rose Avenues on non-event days. These changes are to help customers and retail business.

– P15 minute zones will change to P30 minutes between 6am & 7pm (with exception of the 15 minute zone near the ATM & heritage precinct stairs).
– P30 minute zones will remain P30 minutes between 6am & 7pm.
– 2P Parking will be in place between 7pm & 6am in the zones
The loading zone in Dawn Fraser and the electric car and short-term car service parking in Murray Rose Ave will not change.

These changes have come about from feedback from the community and local retail businesses.

Expansion of Silverwater correctional facility …


Construction starts early next year on an almost 700-bed expansion of the Silverwater and Dillwynia correctional facilities. This will create about 200 permanent jobs, and 550 construction jobs in the Greater Western Sydney area.

There’s also another 13 prison construction projects underway across NSW, including a 650-bed expansion of Parklea Correctional Centre and two 400-bed rapid build prisons in Wellington and Cessnock.

Monday 9 October 6:30 – 8:30pm
Tuesday 10 October 10:30am – 12:30pm

The meeting will cover things like the school logo, uniforms, etc. We will set up some Facebook events and would appreciate it if you could respond so we get an idea of numbers.

Rose Manousaridis took up her position on 18 September. She’s super keen to meet with the community, particularly parents. Until better communication mechanisms have been established for the school and parents, we will be letting you know what’s happening on this page.
