What is it about abandoned wrecks that we find so compelling? Here we present a selection of images, taken by Chris McNab, of transport vessels now without life or purpose, stricken around the world, many of which have become tourist attractions in their own right.

Construction Out of Hours
We have recently received some complaints about construction occurring out of hours. Generally, DAs have approved construction hours from 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 2pm on Saturday.
City of Parramatta Council has been notified of these complaints and has said that they will direct some ad hoc patrols after 5pm to WP.
If you are disturbed by construction out of these hours, please contact Council on 9806 5050. After 5pm this will go to a service. If there is a ranger on patrol, they will be directed to the site. If not, a ranger can be called out.
There are fines that apply for working outside of approved construction hours. CoP will pursue these as a matter of course.

I’m also aware of an info booth in Rhodes Shopping Centre on Thursday 20 June. I will post when I get more info (due in the next few days). I’ve asked for a booth in WP and will coordinate to make it happen.
